I understand that the law allows me an opportunity to appear before a judge to show cause why I have not or will not comply with the terms of my deferral or Mandatory Driver Safety Course, as applicable. I do not wish to exercise my option of appearing before a judge and ask that the court accept my previous plea of no contest, find me guilty, and apply any court costs and fees previously submitted towards the remaining balance of my case, if applicable. I understand that, per statute, an administrative fee of $10.00 will be added to my case. I understand that by not completing the course, a conviction will appear on my driving record if the offense is reportable to the Department of Public Safety. I also understand that if my balance is not paid in full before my Revocation Hearing and I fail to appear, a warrant may be issued for my arrest.
