Certificate of Occupancy Inspection Request

For Food Enterprises Only: This inspection is a requirement to ensure the facilities and equipment meet the current health and safety standards.

City of Austin – This inspection is required to complete the inspection process of your City of Austin building permit and obtain a certificate of occupancy.
Travis County – This inspection is required for any newly constructed or remodeled food enterprise prior to food enterprise permit application approval.

Prerequisites

Applicants will be contacted for payment, by a city representative, within the next two (2) business days. Please allow staff time to process all requests prior to inquiring about an application’s status. If you require further assistance or additional information regarding your application please refer the confirmation number when contacting the department.
